American Institute of Architects Los Angeles Chapter
Established in 1894, the AIA Los Angeles is a not-for-profit organization focused on implementing the architectural and design goals of the national organization, the American Institute of Architects (AIA) at the local and regional level. Members in the chapter are architectural professionals and building designers actively involved in the building design trades. Full members and affiliate members are employed at a variety of firms representing a range of practices and related fields. By using advocacy of the profession, continuing education, networking and promotion, the AIA Los Angeles serves as a resource to benefit L.A. and Southern California to make it more aesthetically pleasing, sustainable for the environment, habitable for humans, and economically competitive for businesses and industry.
